1. What qualifies you as a coach/trainer?
What qualifies me as a coach is, on the one hand, my training and certification as a systemic coach and mediator, which have given me the necessary methods and specialist knowledge.

On the other hand, in addition to my academic training (Bachelor’s degree in international business administration and Master’s degree in European Studies), I have a wide range of professional experience that spans different industries and sectors, both at home and abroad. The diversity of my professional experience enables me to empathize well with different contexts and to respond flexibly to the needs of my coachees.

Overall, it is not just my formal training that sets me apart, but above all my passion for the individual development of people and my commitment to helping them achieve their goals. In my work, values such as empathy, openness and value impartiality are particularly important to me, but fun and creativity during the coaching process are also important to me. My coaching approach is solution-oriented and I like to use mindfulness exercises to accompany my coachees in their process.

2. What is the best way for you to switch off?
I switch off best in nature and when I’m moving, whether it’s on a bike, doing yoga or horse riding. Alternatively, I like to read a good book in a hammock.
3. In your own words: What does a coach do?
A coach is a companion at eye level who supports the coachee in clarifying their goals and developing strategies to achieve these goals. The coach works in a resource-oriented manner by uncovering, highlighting and promoting the coachee’s individual strengths and potential. Through targeted methods, questions and feedback, the coach helps to promote the coachee’s self-reflection and discover new perspectives.

It is also important to promote personal responsibility and self-efficacy. The coach encourages the coachee to actively take responsibility for their actions and supports them in achieving their own goals. The coaching process is confidential, solution-oriented and tailored to the coachee’s individual needs.

It is also important to emphasize that a coach does not take on a therapeutic role. Coaching focuses on the present and the future and does not focus on dealing with the past. Overall, a coach provides structure and support to achieve personal and professional development goals.
