1. What qualifies you as a coach/trainer?
I have more than 16 years of professional experience as a coach & consultant, manager, project management officer, project manager, and department head in different industries and company types. During this time I have learned how essential and crucial to success is a common understanding of where the journey should go.
For me, the basis of my work is qualities such as integrity, empathy, and reliability as well as the unconditional will to act responsibly.
My employees, colleagues, and managing directors in different companies and industries describe me as a competent, honest, empathetic, visionary, appreciative, respectful, consistent, authentic and systemic thinker.
For me, the personal success of my clients is always the focus.
2. What do your clients say about you?
“The concept with the Miro Board in combination with Tim’s competence put me in the right direction concerning my professional reorientation.
Tim always listened carefully and addressed the smallest details that he heard. I felt very comfortable throughout the entire period and can only recommend coaching with him.” “Thank you for the new perspective on many things in life that you think you know – and then realize that you have never really thought about them. You start to think, look at yourself from a different perspective, and then experience one or two surprises in your fixed thoughts and patterns. It was a lot of fun and I looked forward to every single session! All the best and hope for a coffee on my next visit.”
“From the first conversation, Tim seemed committed, relaxed, and genuinely interested in finding out what drives me. This a first impression that was continually confirmed throughout the coaching and Tim supported me in developing an even better feeling for what values and strengths characterize me and in looking to the future with courage.
The coaching not only exceeded my expectations in terms of content but was a lot of fun despite (or perhaps because of) the intensity. Thank you very much for that!”
“I can fully recommend coaching with Tim.
By listening with interest, questioning, and reflecting as well as independently dealing with appropriate questions, I was able to gain clarity for myself within a very short time (who am I and where do I want to go?).
A consistently goal-oriented and pleasant collaboration, thank you very much!”
“Through his questions, his good listening, and his follow-up, Tim made me aware of the potential that lies within me. Working on my vision board, in addition to the fact that it was a lot of fun, brought clarity for me above all. It was an intensive and beautiful process to create a picture of my values, talents and strengths in which I depict my professional and private situation. Tim brought it to the surface in a non-judgmental and empathetic way and made it visible to me. Thank you for that! That gives me courage for the future.”
3. How do you recognize a good coach?
A good coach listens more than he speaks. A good coach asks questions and is curious and appreciative. A good coach is authentic and has found a clear position and attitude for themselves. From this attitude, the coach enters a new island, a new system with each new coachee. Neither the language nor the behavior or rules of this island are known. A good coach will neither judge nor condemn them nor will he come around with good advice. Good coaches perceive and form hypotheses, and ask for permission before putting on the “advisor hat”.
A good coach easily creates an atmosphere of trust, security, and eye level.
At best, a good coach has gained personal experience, but this does not tempt him to “know” too quickly what the client is about. Rather, a good coach has developed a self-assurance and self-confidence from failure, setbacks, and non-successes that provide him with maximum sovereignty.
For a good coach, the focus is ALWAYS on the client and his system.
