I am thrilled when the coachee discovers a blind spot in themselves, formulates a new insight or tries out a specific new behavior. Or develops clarity for themselves about what their next professional step would be. In short: whenever development takes place.
2. What do your clients say about you?
I receive feedback that my clients feel that I support them in an appreciative way and that I ask helpful questions. And that the questions can be exhausting, but have a lasting effect. If the situation allows, I also like to make them laugh.
3. How do you recognize a good coach?
A good coach listens and can put themselves in the shoes of their coachee. They embark on a joint search process with the coachee: What is it actually about? They speak significantly less than their coachee, are respectful, open and authentic. Ultimately, a good coach works like a mirror in which the coachee can see themselves.
