1. What qualifies you as a coach/trainer?

I feel called to be a job coach or start-up coach because I can look back on many moments of professional reorientation myself. My personal experience as well as numerous training and further education courses enable me to design a new future with you. Let’s talk about it!

My background is extensive experience in the national and international economy. As a manager and consultant, I have already enjoyed the trust of more than 150 well-known companies, including those from the IT, technology, and production sectors. For many years, I also provided process support and project consulting for various companies in Silicon Valley. New York is more than just a buzzword for me because I have gotten to know the modern working world “from the inside”. This means I know what employers will be paying more attention to in the future. I know different corporate cultures and can help you grow into them individually.

Moving to other cities or even countries as well as personal circumstances have “uprooted” me professionally several times: For example, as a native Pole, I had to find my way around in Germany in 1990, where my qualifications were not recognized. Despite this, I quickly became the director of a renowned language school. When I moved to Canada, I was able to sign an employment contract with a very good employer after just two months in the new country. When I returned to Germany, I was able to take on a new role seamlessly.

As a job coach, I would like to pass on my personal experience and my success strategies to other people.

My specialty is the topic of work. Because we spend a large part of our time at work and the (dis)satisfaction there radiates into all other areas of life! For me, my training as a Career Navigator® according to Angelika Gulder, which I completed in 2013, is particularly central to career orientation coaching. Ten years later, I supplemented my methodological competence in job coaching with approaches from the field of design thinking. As a member of the German Coaching Association and the International Coaching Federation, I continually take part in further training courses.

2. What measurable results have you achieved together with your clients and what sets you apart?

Every person I have worked with as a manager or coach has been able to discover the right professional field for themselves and shape their future career there. In some cases, this resulted in career advancement, in other cases a switch to another field or a change of company was the result. In some other cases, the existing employment relationship was enriched with important aspects. What all of these situations have in common is: greater life and work satisfaction, higher personal motivation and productivity, and an improvement in well-being and health.

3. How will digitalization change the general coaching business? And how will you deal with it?

This is an enormously exciting field. There are already so many international coaching platforms that democratize access to coaching and make it available to target groups who would not have dreamed of coaching 5 years ago or who could not take part in the classic face-to-face format due to particular barriers. The AI makes it easier to select the most suitable coach profiles and thus makes the matching between clients and coaches precise and effective. New applications are emerging very quickly that expand the didactic design options in online coaching so that everything that is methodically possible in a face-to-face format can now also be represented online. I personally am looking forward to this development, which enriches my work and offers my clients added value.

4. What is the best way to switch off?

I switch off and recharge my batteries on long walks with my dog and while I cook creative menus for others and entertain my guests. The exercise in the fresh air helps me to rethink and realign some consulting processes. When mixing different ingredients for a menu, I often develop creative ideas that I can use for my clients. This allows me to be present for my clients and to accompany them creatively, strategically and with a pinch of humor.
