1.What do your clients say about you?
My clients say they like my hands-on mentality, my confidence, and my sense of humor. In my coaching sessions, we try different methods, and if we’re stuck on one approach, we try something else. I don’t give up, and my clients appreciate that, or at least that’s what they tell me. In my coaching process, alongside moving and sometimes sad moments, there are always moments when we laugh together. My focus is always on relieving stress and empowering my counterpart.
2. What drives you, and what is your favorite task as a coach/trainer?
I love people and their stories. Everyone has their own unique story, I love listening, and when, with my help, they succeed in unraveling one or two knots in a challenging life situation, I find it very enriching. I like diversity, free from stereotypical thinking. My approach to coaching and personal development is radically strengths-based. Every person can and is unique.
3. What are you most proud of when you think about your career?
I’m proud of having always remained curious, always looking forward to new ideas and insights, and knowing and getting to know many wonderful people. In difficult situations, I’ve taken new paths. I believe in the power and opportunities that lie in change.
4. How will digitalization change the general coaching business? And how will you handle it?
The years of the pandemic have taught us more about digitalization than we ever expected, at least that’s how it was for me. Besides the challenges, I now also recognize the opportunities digitalization presents. We can work from almost anywhere in the world. People can reach me nationwide, and people in a wide variety of life situations can participate in coaching and training sessions. For example, a single mother can receive her coaching from home. I personally prefer hybrid solutions that adapt to the specific needs of both clients and coaches. For me, coaching can be done in person and just as easily digital.
