1. What qualifies you as a coach/trainer?
I’ve been working in consulting for over 10 years, supporting people in their professional reorientation within the job market. My work focuses on advising founders and startups. After completing my training as a bank clerk and studying business administration, I spent many years working for small and medium-sized companies in a wide variety of industries. This has allowed me to gain experience in management and consulting roles, as well as through startups. I see myself as a partner on equal footing with founders, with the shared goal of developing a good idea into a promising career path with a solid foundation. My interest in people and their professional environment led me to coaching. I look forward to hearing about your startup ideas.
2. What do you enjoy most about your job?
My work aims to support people on their path to greater personal and professional satisfaction.
3. What drives you and what is your favorite task as a coach/trainer?
Getting to know interesting people who have ideas for their future path. This includes sharing their experiences and offering a prognosis to reinforce positive paths and avoid risky developments. It’s a joy to be part of this journey and to accompany people on their journey to success.
4. What is the best way to unwind?
Enjoy a cup of cappuccino with nice people in a cozy spot. And then watch the action. It’s ideal in a vibrant city, by the sea, in the mountains, but – very importantly – also at home on the terrace.
5. How do you recognize a good coach?
A good coach is a good listener, draws on proven solutions from their many years of knowledge, and shows their clients the way forward. A good degree of empathy is required to identify and support the client’s desired path. In the area of business and start-up consulting, I believe that many years of professional experience in a wide variety of positions and functions in working life is beneficial. A start-up coach should also have firsthand knowledge of the various phases of a start-up. How to develop an idea and balance enthusiasm with doubt to find the right path, where to overcome critical phases, and where to secure long-term success. Knowledge of unsuccessful start-ups also represents invaluable expertise for protecting clients from foreseeable mistakes or misunderstandings. This allows an individual path to a successful professional future to be developed.
